Weekly Asset Allocation Update

Recap
Nothing but bloody days recently! That said, we are still beating the S&P 500. We closed the week -1.35% against the S&P 500 which closed the week -2.12%, a BEAT of +0.77%. The S&P 500 closed its fifth week in a row negative and is no less than 1% away from bear market territory. Our YTD Performance is -4.40%, against the S&P 500 which is -7.14% YTD, a BEAT of +2.74%. Our YTD Alpha (risk adjusted) is +2.69! This means that our portfolio is taking slightly less risk than the S&P 500 yet is outperforming it by 2.69% for Q1. The Iran war is causing market selloffs by institutions, yet bonds are also not surging yet due to inflationary concerns.Â
Portfolio Changes and Outliers
We added to every position we own with the exception of $SATL, $DFTX, $RDW, $INTU, $BTC and $ETH. We plan to add to them this week. For now, our portfolio is holding 3.6% cash.
NEW: Along with these weekly updates, you can now see our portfolio LIVE. It shows our updated positions and percentages AND updates every 60 seconds during market hours. Current Asset Allocation

In Short
We expect more bloody days ahead. The market is trying to figure out if this conflict will be prolonged, and whether or not oil prices will be inflationary for a significant portion of 2026. Only time will tell, which is why instead of trying to time the market we remain positioned defensively. We still buy dips in equities on big red weeks (like last week) yet over 40% of our portfolio is in bonds/income ETFs.
Thanks for reading! Until next time, good luck out there and Godspeed.
